About
![]() My interest in photography began in 2001 when I bought a 3 million pixel Sony digital camera. I started taking a variety of pictures and it wasn’t long before I became hooked; the more pictures I took the more I wanted to learn and improve. I knew that to improve, and to make pictures that inspired me in magazines and books, I would have to upgrade my 3 million pixel camera. This was at the early stages of the Digital Revolution, and whilst I toyed with buying a film SLR camera, I knew that the way forward was digital. I couldn’t have timed it any better, as it was at this stage that the Canon 10D Digital SLR was released. I took the plunge and haven’t looked back. I’m often asked what kind of photography I do. As you will see from these galleries I love the outdoors, taking pictures of the landscape in light that you don’t see if you lie in bed in the mornings, or head indoors when it starts to get dark. Although there have been times, when I have been standing by my tripod, on a dark, cold, and wintry beach, freezing cold and having been soaked by an unexpected wave crashing in around me, waiting for the sun to rise, that I have thought: ‘What the hell am I doing this for’. The answer of course is easy ... I love it. New images will be added to this website on a regular basis if you wish to be alterted to new content please consider subscribing to the RSS Feed for this site.
